    Please note: Mayor of Munich was Karl Fiehler who took part in the famous Hitler putsch in Munich and was sentenced for it like Hitler. Fiehler was a member of the NSDAP and joined the SS. His highest rank in the SS was SS-Obergruppenführer and was assigned to the personal staff of Heinrich H i m m l e r until September 1944. Fiehler was mayor of Munich from 1933 to 1945 and was responsible for the persecution of Jews in Munich.
