    This auction is for a nice 1890s melon rib open salt dip.  Less than 2 inches diameter, it is blown in opaque white milk glass.  Beaded enamel rim and hand painted florals.  Satin outside and shiny interior.  Similar examples were made by Wavecrest and Smith Brothers.
