    KPM Berlin Hand Painted WWI Wilhelm II Portrait Figural Wing Handle Cup & Saucer
    Beautiful porcelain cup with bisque and partially gilded winged Greco-Roman figure with red and white shield handle. Nicely decorated with a very nicely hand painted portrait of Wilhelm II, the Last German Emperor & King of Prussia. The portrait is framed by gold gilding with relief molded bisque depictions of Hercules and a lion on one side and Europa and the bull on the other side. The saucer has a ring of gold gilt leaves and gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom with the red globe over KPM and the blue scepter mark used by KPM Berlin. It also has a black iron cross used by KPM Berlin between 1914 and 1918.
    Wilhelm the second lived between 1859 and 1941, and his reign was between 1888 and 1918.
    Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
