Description
Here's a pattern glass item for the Syrup Jug collector. This jug was made by the Beaumont Glass Company, Martin's Ferry, Ohio, circa: 1895. At 113 years of age it qualifies as a true Antique. The color is Emerald Green. The reference books show this jug with floral decoration. This one just doesn't have decoration. The metal top is original and it works fine. A small part of the thumb tab on the cover is missing but it is still functional. The glass is clear and free of any cracks, lines, or damage of any kind. The item is referenced in "Victorian Colored Pattern Glass, Book III" by William Heacock, page 44, item # 313. The ware on the bottom is commensurate to it's age. Any unusual white spots shown in the photos are from camera glare. This will make a great accessory to any Victorian home. 27110825Payment must be received within 3 business days.
