Antique KPM Germany Berlin Porcelain Soup Tureen with  Platter Tray
Beautiful hand-painted Floral Soup Tureen and Oval Serving Platter by KPM, Berlin: circa 1900’s. The lid is topped with a partially robed Putto gripping in one hand, a pumpkin or zucchini. The complementary oval platter makes a lovely underplate for the tureen or can be used as a service platter with its generous sides. Signed on the bottom with the Berlin scepter and imperial orb, KPM, Königliche Porzellan Manufacktur (the firm known as the King’s Royal Porcelain Manufacturer of Berlin).
Measurements:
Tureen measures approximately 15” (38 cm) long x 8 3/8” (21.5 cm) wide x 5 3/4” (15 cm) high without the lid; 12" ( 30 cm) high to the top of the finial.
Platter measures 17”  (43 cm ) long x 12 3/8” (( 31.5 cm)  wide 2 1/8” ( 5.5 cm) high.
