Antique Blown Nailsea Glass Crystal Boot Flask - "Shoes of Glass" Collection

We are pleased to be offering antique glass shoes from the personal collection of Libby Yalom, the author of the book,
Shoes of Glass
.
This is an old, blown Nailsea crystal boot flask with integral foot.  The shape is more rounded than usual boot flask.
There is a small clear spot in the white glass stripe seen in the second photo.  The rounding of the white stripe at the location suggests it occurred at production.  The flask is somewhat similar to those of
Page 72, Plate 35 in
Shoes of Glass 2
, although the striping is less refined.  Collection provenance will be provided.
The boot measures approx. 3-3/8 in. wide x 6-1/2 in. tall.  The foot is approx. 2 in. long.  There are a few minor scratches where the flask would have lain on its sides.  Please message us if you have any questions.
