Our Shop's card conditions are a great point of reference for you. In the other tabs have tried providing clear examples of what a card should look like at each condition, we want to be sure everyone knows what to expect when buying from Card Castle.
The difficulty in this process is that there are no hard and fast rules regarding the amount of marks a card can have or how severe those marks can get—every card is unique. By introducing guidelines, we give you an idea to identify the best card condition for your collecting and playing enjoyment.

We sell select cards that have been officially graded by PSA, BGS (Beckett), and SGC. These cards have been submitted to a third-party service and inspected for Authenticity and Ranked on a 10-point grading scale. These card are then assigned an overall grade based on the quality of the card, sealed in a tamper-proof case, and assigned a serial number that is cataloged within a database.

A Near Mint card may have a tiny edge nicks or a small scratches, but overall look nearly unplayed with no major defects or flaws.
