1960s Snoopy SPACE PATROL in BOX Robot Battery Toy MODERN TOYS Japan RARE!

This listing is for a vintage Snoopy SPACE PATROL made by Modern Toys (aka, TM) Japan in the 1960s. This is a rare and desirable cross-over space toy. It measures 11.5 inches long and is made mostly of tin with plastic accents. Features lovely metallic blue litho with lots of detail. The toy is in excellent condition with a clean battery box. The dome has a non-obtrusive stress crack at the very top. The base and battery door are fully intact (they are rather fragile and usually found with cracks or broken). The toy still works great with amusing action--the rocket ship moves around with "engine" sounds, lighted rear booster, and moving gun. Comes with the original box. The box is a bit rough with some repairs and two dime-size chips on a side flap, but it still displays and has both inserts. On consignment.
