    Description

    This listing is for a vintage PISTON ACTION ROBOT (aka, Robby the Robot) made by Showa, Japan, in the 1950s. This is an original, NOT a repro, in the scarce and beautiful silver/maroon color. The robot measures approximately 8.5 inches tall and made mostly of tin with a remote control/battery box. It is in fine condition overall with a very nice dome and clean battery compartment. Looks like it was not played with much, if at all. Still works great--the robot walks along with moving pistons in the head and lighted dome. Comes with the original box. The box is rough with several repairs but it is complete with all flaps and still displays great. A classic robot! On consignment. Please click on my STORE above for more vintage toys and robots.
